Give Thanks

As always, this Thanksgiving was filled with tons of food, fun, games and travel!  We spent the first few days of the week in St. George with Joye and her family.  The only bad part was that it rained everyday we were there.  We were looking forward to getting out of the cold weather of Provo, but that didn't quite happen.  Our days were filled with rock bank, board games and food.  The day after Thanksgiving, we drove down to Burbank with Dick and Donna to look for a place to live come January 2009.  We got down to Burbank around 2:00 and our first appointment was at 2:30.  We got to the apartment complex and what do you know, nobody was there to show us the apartment.  That was okay though because it wasn't in a very good area of Burbank.  So we went on to the next appointment we had.  We ended up looking at about 5 different apartment complex's.  It turns out that the very last one that we looked at, we got.  We are down sizing to a one bedroom, one bath, but that's okay.  It's been completely re-done inside, so we have all new appliances, which is so nice.  I'm so relieved that we found a place right off the bat.  So then on Saturday we drove up to Brentwood and stayed there for a day and then flew back to SLC.  Wow, did we ever travel!  We hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving holiday and is getting prepared for Christmas.  We will keep you posted on our move!
