Mountain Get Away

Two weekends ago we went up to Shaver Lake with Mike's best friend Chris. His parents have a cabin right on the lake and it is so beautiful! (I lost my pictures of the lake) The road to get to the cabin is so windy, so needless to say Mike and I were not feeling to hot when we got there. It didn't help that we didn't get their until 1:00 in the morning either. Anyway, the weekend was filled with lots of fun and laughs. Mike and Chris always have a good time reminiscing about their old high school days. The best part of the trip was going on on the boat. We were out on the lake for 5 hours! Everybody had their fair share of wake-boarding and their fair share of falls too. The next day was filled with hiking up to the waterfalls. The weekend ended with the girls tying bows on Chris and Courtney's wedding announcements! They are getting married in September and Mike is his best man. It was good times in the mountains!
